Dr. Wesley Yemoto
Dr. Wesley Yemoto has been providing his patients exceptional dental care for almost 30 years. Since graduating from Georgetown University School of Dentistry with a doctorate in dental surgery, Dr. Yemoto has remained committed to continuing his education. Embracing new techniques and new technologies, Dr. Yemoto ensures his patients receive fantastic dental care, no matter what their needs.
Dr. Yemoto, a member of the American Dental Association, is committed to creating for patients the smiles they have always wanted and to building long-lasting relationships with his clientele. Dr. Yemoto currently resides in Los Gatos, California. He enjoys snow boarding, traveling, jogging, cycling, and racquetball. Jocelyn Weinhagen, BA, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jocelyn graduated from UC-San Diego with a BA in psychology in 1993. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Cerritos College in 1999. She has been a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association since 1997. She is very involved with her hygiene profession in and out of the office. She also records for the state RDH exam. In addition to her involvement in the local dental hygiene society (SCVDHA), Jocelyn has three small children including one set of twins. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, quilting, decorating cakes, and volunteering in her community.
Joan Miller, Registered Dental Hygienist
Joan was born in Modesto, and has lived all over Northern California, from Redding to Sacramento. Joan and her husband moved to San Jose in 2003. Joan joined Dr. Yemoto's team in 2005. She has two children, and five grandchildren, whom she loves to visit. Joan received her education at Sierra College (AA), and Sacramento City College (AS). Her hobbies and interests include traveling, knitting, quilting, and spending weekends at their foothill getaway.
Janet Kennedy, Clinical Assistant in Extended Functions
Janet has lived in San Jose since 1979. She is the proud mother of three children, and one grandson. Janet and her husband Mike will be celebrating 30 years of marriage this December. She has worked in our office since 1987, and has been assisting since 1972. She became an RDA in 1980, and continued her education earning her EF certification. Whether it is whitening your teeth, preparing for Invisalign or assisting Dr. Yemoto with patient Smile Designs, her passion is dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys quilting and vacationing with her husband.
Robin Howard, Scheduling Coordinator
Robin was born in Lachine, Quebec, Canada, and moved to San Jose in 1969. She began dental assisting in 1975, and worked with Dr. Yemoto for 5 years begining in 1980. Robin then took an 8 year leave from the dental world to focus her energies on raising her son and daughter. When she decided it was time to return to work, she was hired to work in Dr. Yemoto's front office. Robin has worked for Dr, Yemoto for 22 years now. Her hobbies include reading, photography, and scrap booking.
Chris Sunseri, Financial Coordinator
Chris was born in Massachusetts, and raised in San Jose. Chris had been a financial coordinator and front office manager for 15 years prior to joining Dr. Yemoto's team in January, 2005. Chris assists patients with all aspects of their insurance claims and benefits, and makes all financial arrangements. Chris has 2 sons, and a daughter. Chris enjoys cooking, gardening, listening to Smooth Jazz, and quilting.
Mischelle Benassi, RDA, Clinical Assistant
Mischelle was born and raised here in San Jose. She received her RDA degree from Clayton College in 1987, and has enjoyed every minute of the past 24 years in dental assisting. Mischelle is the newest member of the Yemoto Team, and is very excited to be part of the Team. Mischelle is happily married, and has 2 grown daughters. Mischelle enjoys good food and great Champagne! She also enjoys cuddling with her three dogs.
